MICHEL PERCHIN MP5 CONVERTIBLE ROLLERBALL PEN

The MP 5 Rollerball Pen was inspired by Faberge’s Blue Serpent Clock Egg. This piece was presented to Empress Maria Fedorovna in 1887, by her husband Tsar Alexander III.

During a visit to Russia, Consuelo Vanderbilt, the Duchess of Marlborough saw the Imperial Blue Serpent Clock Egg. Shortly thereafter, Faberge was commissioned to recreate the design, and it was completed in 1902 in Pink and Gold. This piece was the only egg to be made for an American.

The barrel and all metal parts of this marvelous piece of art are sculpted from .925 sterling silver.

Available in three dazzling colors plated in 22K yellow gold and one in rhodium, red enamel with jet black acrylic, blue enamel with mystic blue acrylic, and coronation yellow enamel and rhodium plating.

Each is limited in production of 188 of each color.
