VISCONTI OPERA MASTER DEMO LIMITED EDITION FOUNTAIN PEN

On July, 31st 1998, Visconti registered at the Italian Patent Office the “Double Reservoir power Filler”, the inventor of which was Dante Del Vecchio. This really unique filling system allows a safe use and transport of fountain pens during air flights, avoiding ink-leakages and at the same time boosting writing autonomy up to 10 times more than any other pen. Since that time the “Double Reservoir Power Filler” was applied to all Visconti top range models and it has been continuously improved although keeping the original concept of the very first patent. Two years after the first certification the prestigious American Patent Office released the USA patent to Visconti. Ten years after the very first patent Visconti has applied the Double Reservoir Power Filler to the Opera collection, creating Opera Master Demo. In order to appreciate its fine mechanism, the components and to enjoy the view of the ink too, Visconti has manufactured 3 new semitransparent colors usually called “demonstrator”. Every single pen is polished twice: externally and internally to give the right finishing to acriloyd and to let appreciate Visconti finest craftsmanship. This fine writing instrument is limited to 888 pieces.
