ORIGINAL CROWN MILL BI-COLORED BOXED STATIONERY
The fine laid paper we know as Crown Mill is the late nineteenth century replica of a handmade writing sheet made by the monks of La Hulpe Monastery in Belgium, commissioned by Charles II in the 17th Century.
The founder of this modern Crown Mill paper, Frederic Pelletier, lined the Crown Mill envelopes with silk and boxed the stationery with his elegant label on the lid. The crisp laid finish and deckle of these sheets and cards, their distinctive color range from cream to rich yellow, as well as the elegance of the packaging, has remained faithful to the history of this fine social paper.
The Crown Mill laid sheets, cards and envelopes are available in a variety of sizes, packaged in "luxury boxes," boxes of 25 units each.
Cards are approximately 280gsm, acid free sulphite.
Offered in two sizes: 4 x 6" and 5.75 x 8.25"
